Your Cal Poly account and password act as a key to online services offered by the University such as Email, Calendar, WiFi, PolyLearn, and administrative tools.

Getting Started

If you are new to the Cal Poly campus, you will need to activate your account to get started.

 

Applicants

Students, Faculty, or Staff

  • Call or visit the Service Desk at (805) 756-7000 to request a temporary password, you will have three days to reset your password.
  • Visit MyCalPoly Portal to change your password and set your security questions.

Troubleshooting

Are you a Student Applicant logging in for the first time?

New to Cal Poly and you do not know your username and/or password?

  • Call or visit the Service Desk at (805) 756-7000 to request a temporary password.

Trouble logging in to your Cal Poly account?

  • Click the Forgot Password link on the MyCal Poly Portal login screen and provide answers to your security questions.
