Your Cal Poly account and password act as a key to online services offered by the University such as Email, Calendar, WiFi, PolyLearn, and administrative tools.
MyCalPoly Portal provides authenticated, permissions-based access to many Cal Poly-provided services such as email, calendar, PolyLearn, PolyPlanner and PASS. The portal allows you to quickly check your classes, renew a book, check your Cal Poly financial balances and more.
PolyCard is the Cal Poly campus identification card. You can use your PolyCard for dining plans use, library services, campus events, free SLO city bus rides, and pay for printing (printing locations: Library Labs, Departmental Labs, and University Union).
Cal Poly offers email and calendar services for current students, faculty and staff. Campus users can forward their campus email to other email providers (like Yahoo! or Gmail), if desired. Each account has integrated email, calendar, personal address book, tasks and file storage. Auxiliary and departmental accounts are available upon request.
Cal Poly offers 1 terabyte of storage through Office 365 OneDrive. Available to students, faculty and staff, OneDrive provides web-based document creation, editing, and easy file sharing.
Faculty and staff can use VPN (Virtual Private Network) to securely access Cal Poly computing resources from off campus. To access specific systems, such as your desktop computer, contact for CITC (Campus Information Technology Coordinator) for assistance.
