    Cal Poly offers access to many kinds of software for staff, faculty, students and labs including Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and many more.

  • University Computing Initiative

    We are currently restructuring our Workstation Program, which will transition to the University Computing Initiative. Please stay tuned for new information in the near future.

  • Email and Calendar: Office 365

    Cal Poly offers email and calendar services for current students, faculty and staff. Campus users can forward their campus email to other email providers (like Yahoo! or Gmail), if desired. Each account has integrated email, calendar, personal address book, tasks and file storage. Auxiliary and departmental accounts are available upon request.

  • Media Resource Center

    The Media Resource Center offers a variety of media equipment and laptop computers for short-term checkout in support of instructional and/or academic needs.

  • Network Connectivity

    Working with department staff across the Cal Poly campus, ITS provides Internet services to the data faceplate in each office, classroom and lab throughout the campus. ITS provides consultative network planning and troubleshooting services for departments.

  • VPN: Virtual Private Network

    Faculty and staff can use VPN (Virtual Private Network) to securely access Cal Poly computing resources from off campus. To access specific systems, such as your desktop computer, contact for CITC (Campus Information Technology Coordinator) for assistance.

  • Wi-Fi: Secure Mustang Wireless Network

    Cal Poly offers secure wireless access to students, faculty, and staff that we call Secure Mustang Wireless. eduroam allows students, faculty, and staff visiting Cal Poly from participating institutions to access wireless on campus. For guests visiting campus, we offer temporary guest access. For students living in the residence halls, ResNet provides residential secure Wi-Fi.
